What Happens in your Consultation

We review your intake form.

You’ll fill out our intake form before you arrive. It covers your goals, training history, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and nutrition habits. We go through it together so we understand the full picture, not just what you want to change, but why, and what’s gotten in the way before.

We build a game plan (together).

Based on your intake, we map out how often you’ll train, what you’ll do on your off days, and which habits to focus on first. We set these up in your coaching app before you leave so you’re not starting from scratch when you walk out the door.

We assess how you move.

We look at your movement patterns using a functional movement screen, and may add strength, flexibility, or cardiovascular assessments depending on your goals and the time remaining. This gives us a baseline and helps us design training that’s safe and effective for your body specifically.

FAQs

  • Yes. The Consultation & Movement Assessment is included in the $299 Intro Offer. It’s your first appointment. If you’ve already purchased the Intro Offer, we will contact you to book your consultation.

  • Wear workout clothes and bring your water bottle. We’re a shoes-off studio, if you’d prefer to wear shoes during your sessions, bring a clean pair of indoor shoes. Towels are provided.

  • It’s a 1-hour appointment with your trainer, the foundation for everything that follows. We review your intake form together, build your training game plan (frequency, habits, off-day programming), and then do a movement assessment to see how your body moves. Depending on your goals, this may include a functional movement screen and assessments for strength, flexibility, or cardiovascular fitness.

    Wear workout clothes and bring water. We’re a shoes-off studio, if you’d prefer to train in shoes, bring a clean pair of indoor shoes.

  • Yes. The intro offer is designed for anyone starting out. The consultation and movement assessment means we understand exactly where you’re starting from before we ask you to do anything. We’ve worked with clients at every level, from people who haven’t exercised in years to competitive athletes.

  • No. The consultation is a standalone service and there’s no obligation to continue. That said, most clients leave with enough clarity about their goals and a game plan that continuing just makes sense.

  • Yes. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid losing a session from your package. You can cancel or reschedule online, or reach us directly. All sessions are prepaid. If you don’t have sessions on account, we can’t hold a time for you.
